Step Inside The Layered Chateau
It’s here! The debut of The Layered Chateau, a project where refined patterns, inviting textures, and thoughtful details come together in a way that feels both elevated and livable. With every room, we set out to balance visual interest with soul-soothing comfort; the kind that welcomes you in and encourages you to stay a while.

Moody Spaces, Timeless Appeal
As the seasons shift, there’s a natural pull toward richer palettes and deeper textures. At Blair Burton Interiors, we love embracing the moody side of design not simply for the drama it creates, but for the timeless sophistication it brings to a space.

The Art of Designing Home
At Blair Burton Interiors, we believe a home should be more than beautiful. It should feel like an extension of you. It’s the place where you celebrate milestones, host late-night conversations, and retreat after a long day. Our work is about elevating those everyday moments, weaving style and soul into each detail so your space feels deeply personal, timelessly elegant, and endlessly livable. Today, we'll walk you through our design process.

How We Bring Soul to Every Space
There’s a certain magic that happens when a timeworn piece finds its way into a new home. At Blair Burton Interiors, you’ll rarely see a project without these soulful touches. Whether it’s a centuries-old French mirror catching the morning light or a weathered console table that’s hosted generations of stories, we believe that vintage pieces have a way of grounding a space: bringing texture, history, and a sense of permanence that simply can’t be replicated.

How Design Helped Close The Deal
When a local realtor reached out with a time-sensitive request, we knew it was a challenge worth taking. The listing: an existing condo in the heart of Tarrytown. The buyer: interested but not quite sold. The ask: could we transform the space quickly—no structural changes, just furniture, art, rugs, and accessories—to help seal the deal?

A Room to Live In
The best living rooms are more than just beautiful—they’re lived in. They're where morning coffee turns into family movie night, where guests gather, and where design and comfort meet. For us, living room design is never one-size-fits-all.

Inside a Spring-Inspired Home
Stepping inside our Westlake Traditional project feels like an absolute breath of fresh air. This Austin renovation carefully marries the homeowners' distinct styles, anchored in a palette of cool blues and crisp whites, with plenty of pattern-mixing moments for good measure.

Bold Color & Family Comfort
Sometimes, the functional needs of family life can feel at odds with thoughtful design. Our job, however, is to bridge the gap. Project French Country Modern gave us the perfect opportunity to do so, as we furnished an entire home for a family of twelve. Color, pattern, and texture were key components of the design narrative, bringing distinct personality to this Austin abode.

Dreaming of a new kitchen in 2025?
There's something particularly inspiring about reimagining kitchen spaces as we step into a new year. Armed with a fresh perspective and a desire for more intentional living, it's the perfect moment to evaluate how our spaces can better serve daily life.

It's Been a Big Year
As we reflect on the past twelve months, we can't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude. Being invited into our clients' homes and, more importantly, their stories is such an incredible privilege that's certainly not lost on us.

Step Inside a Rustic Refined Hill Country Retreat
The story of project Rustic Refined is about uncovering a home's true potential. Our clients had found a property with the dream combination of interesting architecture and stunning views, all nestled in the quiet Texas Hill Country. The problem? Faux materials and ornate finishes were at odds with the earthy, unassuming luxury the homeowners craved.
