Every phase of the process is designed to be both thoughtful and engaging. From in-depth conversations and site visits to renderings, space plans, and material selections, Blair and her team create a dialogue that brings clarity to each decision. Each decision contributes to the desired outcome: a soulful home with style and substance. The spaces we design are not imagined in isolation—they are shaped by the way a family lives, the stories they carry, and the aspirations they bring to their home. Each choice is intentional, layered, and in service of creating a home that feels both timeless and distinctly personal.

HOW WE WORK
The Process
We begin with a no-obligation meeting to get to know each other and learn about your project. If we feel we’re a good fit, we’ll dig into the details, helping you crystalize objectives room by room. From there, we create a Design Fee Estimate (DFE) for your consideration. This serves not only as a proposal but also as a tool to help you move forward with or without us. If agreeable, the DFE becomes part of a contract we both execute to formally move ahead together.
With the foundation in place, we continue through interviews and site visits, sometimes in person and sometimes virtually, to measure and record existing conditions. These help us contextualize your stylistic goals and desired outcomes. We source ideas, materials, and samples for your review, and may provide renderings or space plans as we refine concepts. You might even join Blair for a trade day in a larger market or city. This stage culminates in a comprehensive proposal for you to modify or approve.
As decisions come together, our focus shifts to coordination: ordering selections, scheduling deliveries, and working with the right people to bring your vision to life. We frequently revisit budgets as updated costs come in, reassessing and adjusting as needed.
When preparations are complete, the vision takes shape. Construction, if part of your project, begins under our careful supervision. Once spaces are ready and finishes applied, we move into furniture installation, the delivery and placement of your new pieces, setting the stage for final touches.
At the end, we style each space so no detail is left unfinished. We shift, adjust, polish, and accessorize until everything feels complete. Together, with your “owner’s eye” and our experience, we identify and resolve any deficiencies, no matter how small, and fix, fill, or redo as needed.
